Is there a way I can display my smart card on a mobile device?

Whether you order a physical card or not a digital card will be generated for you. The digital card can be displayed on a smart phone or tablet. When you go to the application web site (apply.smartcardadmin.org) you will be able to download an app. The first time you open it the app will prompt you for your credentials. Once you've provided them you will be able to display your smart card.

What is the Smart Card?

The Smart Card is a permanent event credential for people who have learned the techniques of Knowledge from Prem Rawat (also known as Maharaji). It displays the cardholder's name, photo, and unique Smart Card number printed over an attractive background design. The Smart Card makes it easier to register for and attend some events where Prem Rawat speaks.

Will the Smart Card be required in order for a person to attend an event with Prem Rawat (also known as Maharaji)?

There are some events where a Smart Card is required. We recommend that you apply for a card soon, so that you will be able to attend those events. For most events the Smart Card is not a requirement at the present time. However, it can also facilitate your registration and entry to those events.

How long is the Smart Card valid?

There is no expiration date for the physical Smart Card. If you want a digital card, however, it must be renewed every 5 years. If you are switching from a physical to a digital card you must re-apply if your physical card is more than five years old.

Can someone get a Smart Card before learning the techniques of Knowledge?

No. The Smart Card provides verification that a person has learned the techniques of Knowledge as taught by Prem Rawat (also known as Maharaji). Anyone who is eligible may apply. We recommend that people apply as soon as possible after the Knowledge Session.

How do I apply for a Smart Card?

You can apply online on this web site.

I want to attend an event that requires a smart card but my smart card has not arrived. What should I do?

As a reminder, you are able to attend any event where a SC is required as long as you have your SC number, SC name and a photo id. Your SC name and number was provided to you via email when your application is verified. If you've lost that email come to this web site, click the button labeled 'View My Smart Card' and your digital smart card wil be displayed which has your credentials on it.

What if I want to submit an application for someone else who cannot apply online for themselves?

To activate the ability to prepare applications for others, click on the 'CLICK HERE TO DO SOMETHING ELSE' bar at the top of the box and select 'Edit Your Account'. Then check the box 'Check here if you will be preparing applications for people other than yourself' and save your changes. When you subsequently click on the bar at the top of the box you will see a new option: 'Prepare Cards for Others'. Clicking on it will present a page where you can prepare cards for others.

To create an application for another person, click on the 'Prepare an Application for Someone Else' button. Additional sections allow you to track the status of submitted applications, work on saved applications and create replacement applications for those you've previously prepared an application for. If you no longer need to prepare applications for others, simply uncheck the box in your account to hide this section.

WARNING: Never apply for someone else by creating an application for yourself and modifying it with their information. If you do, your personal information may be overwritten with theirs. This will result in your smart card number, name and photo being erased from our records. Event registrations that require entry of your Smart Card name and number will fail and it will be very difficult to verify you using your Smart Card when you enter the event.

Can residents of every country apply for a Smart Card using this website?

The residents of most countries can apply using this website. However, applications from the following countries cannot be processed on this website: INDIA, SRI LANKA, NEPAL, CHINA, and CUBA. If you are a resident of India, Sri Lanka or Nepal, please click on the banner at the top of this page ('If you live in INDIA, NEPAL or SRI LANKA ...') and follow the instructions to apply for an Indian Smart Card. If you are a resident of China or Cuba, please email info@smartcardoffice.org.

How do I upload a photo for my application?

If you have a digital photo taken with your phone:
- To upload the photo directly from your phone: open the application website on your phone and upload the picture into your smart card application from the phone’s photo gallery.
- To complete your application on a computer: email the photo from the phone to your own email account, download the photo onto your computer desktop, open the application website on your computer and upload the picture into your smart card application.
If you have a 'hard copy' photo:
- If you have a scanner: scan the photo into your computer, open the application website on your computer and upload the picture into your smart card application.
- If you don't have a scanner: take it to a shop that can make a digital image for you (in jpg format), transfer the digital image to your computer, open the application website on your computer and upload the picture into your smart card application.

How do I know if my application was submitted successfully and how can I track its progress?

Once you have submitted your application you will automatically be redirected to the application status page which will show you where you are in the application process.

When will I receive my Smart Card?

There are two types of smart cards: one that you carry in your wallet or purse (physical card) and one that is stored on your smart phone (digital card). Physical smart cards are much harder, take much longer and are much more expensive to produce. Under ideal conditions you will receive your physical Smartcard in 6-8 weeks, but this can vary widely due to external factors such as customs as well as the reliability and efficiency of each country's postal network. Unfortunately, this can result in much longer delays. A digital card, however, is available immediately after your application has been verified and your photo has been processed.

After I made a donation, I wasn't returned to the page I was on. What should I do?

When you click on the donate button, the donation page appears in a new window or tab, depending on your browser settings. Once you compete or cancel your donation, a new page will appear in that window or tab. Simply close the window or tab (as per the instructions on the page) and return to the window or tab that you were working in before you clicked the donate button. Whatever you were working on will still be there, unaffected by your detour to the donations page.

How can I view the site in my language?

We use Google Translate to translate the site. On the right side of the header is a dropdown that says 'Select Language'. Simply click on the down arrow to reveal a list of languages. Select your language from the list and all pages will be translated to that language. A translation bar will appear at the top of the page. Clicking 'Show original' will return the site to English. Once returned to English you can click 'Translate' to return to the chosen language.

How can I view notifications in my language?

At various times you will receive notifications from the web site. Unfortunately we cannot translate these for you automatically. You can, however, translate them yourself. Go to https://translate.google.com. There are two boxes. Make sure the language selected for the box on the left is English. Click the down arrow above the box on the right to select the language you wish to translate to. Copy and paste the text of the notification into the left box. Your translation will appear in the right box.

Why can't I use non-English alphabet characters for my Smart Card Name?

Sorry, but due to storage limitations in the Smart Card database we can only accommodate English alphabet characters.

Personal Data

While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you (“Personal Data”). Personally identifiable information may include but is not limited to:

Use of Data

WOPG/I uses the data for various purposes:

To process your application so that we may verify that you are entitled to a smart card and, if so, produce the card and ship it to you
To provide a vehicle for us and sister organizations to confirm that you have a smart card should the need arise (special events, Knowledge reviews, etc.)
To provide and maintain our Service
To allow you to participate in interactive features of our Service when you choose to do so
To provide customer support
To gather analysis or valuable information so that we can improve our Service
To monitor the usage of our Service
To detect, prevent and address technical issues

Retention of Data

WOPG/I will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

WOPG/I will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Service, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

Transfer of Data

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction.

If you are located outside United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to United States and process it there.

We do not support "Do Not Track" (DNT). Do Not Track is a preference you can set in your web browser to inform websites that you do not want to be tracked.

You have the right to data portability for the information you provide to WOPG/I. You can request to obtain a copy of your Personal Data in a commonly used electronic format so that you can manage and move it.

Third-Party Service Providers

We employ certain third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service (“Third-Party Service Providers”), to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and may not disclose or use it for any other purpose. You can have any of your Personal Data removed from these Third-Party Service Providers by sending an e-mail to info@smartcardoffice.org.

We use the following Third-Party Service Provider to provide Service-related services:

Ivory's Rock Conference Center (IRCC)

Ivory's Rock Conference Center is a unique spacious venue located near Brisbane, Australia that is occasionally used for events that use Smart Card information for registration purposes. When requested we provide the IRCC with a listing of current Smart Card holders.

Children’s Privacy

Our Service is not directed to anyone under the age of 13 (“Children”).

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update the “effective date” at the top of this Privacy Policy.

How to Use the Smart Card Application Web Site

Welcome to the new Smart Card Application Web Site! This site allows you to do all of the following:

Apply for a Smart Card for the first time
Apply for a replacement Smart Card if you need one
Keep track of your application's progress.
Manage your security questions
Prepare an application for someone else who cannot do it themselves or for someone you share an email address with (see the note below and click on 'Frequently Asked Questions' button for more information)

You can do these from any computer or mobile device with an Internet connection.

You will go through 2 steps to create or access your account:

When you enter the web site you will be prompted for a current email address. If you are returning to the site, use the same email address that you used previously (if you need to update your email address you will be able to by editing your account unless a prior application is still being processed).
A message will be sent containing a link that will grant you provisional entry to the web site.
When you follow the link you will be required to select three security questions if you haven't already done so.
On subsequent visits you will have three chances to answer one of your security questions correctly in order to access the web site.

Once you have gained access to the web site you will be presented with a page that will allow you to do whatever you need to do to complete your application or view it's progress if you've already submitted it. A blue message bar at the top will provide a short description of what you need to do. If you need to do something other than what is being presented to you click on the 'CLICK HERE TO DO SOMETHING ELSE' banner at the top of the box to reveal a drop down of possible actions.

Future enhancements to smart card functionality will only be possible to implement on the digital smart card. Only check the box for a physical card if you don't have a device that can accomodate the digital card. Please note that a digital card will be generated for you whether you request a physical card or not. It will become available for viewing on the web site as soon as your application is verified and your photo is processed. Your physical card will be shipped to you as soon as it is ready which may take several additional weeks.

If you have additional questions or run into a problem that you can’t resolve click on the 'CLICK HERE TO DO SOMETHING ELSE' bar at the top of the box and select Contact Us for further support.

IMPORTANT NOTE: NEVER apply for someone else by creating an application for yourself and modifying it with their information. If you do your personal information may be overwritten with theirs. This will result in your smart card number, name and photo being erased from our records. Event registrations that require entry of your Smart Card name and number will fail and it will be very difficult to verify you using your Smart Card when you enter the event. Instead check the prepare applications for other people checkbox toward the bottom of the account page. You will the be presented with an additional button on the menu that will enable you to create applications for another person.

Obtaining Smart Card Credentials for the Amaroo Event

General Information for All Attendees

You can register for Amaroo without having a Smart Card, but please apply for one after you have registered, using the instructions below.

How to Apply for a Western Smart Card if you've never had one

Go to http://apply.smartcardadmin.org. Click on the 'New to this site?' banner at the top of the email authentication page for instructions on how to set up a profile. Create your challenge questions. You will then be redirected to a menu that will guide you through the application process.

There are two types of smart cards: one that you carry in your wallet or purse (physical card) and one that is stored on your smart phone (digital card). Physical smart cards are much harder, take much longer and are much more expensive to produce. Only check the box for a physical card if you don't have a device that can accomodate the digital card. Please note that a digital card will be generated for you whether you request a physical card or not. It will become available for viewing on the web site as soon as your application is verified and your photo is processed. Your physical card will be shipped to you as soon as it is ready which may take several additional weeks.

Producing the physical cards is currently not possible. You will definitely not receive your card before Amaroo. This is not a problem. When your application has been verified, you will receive an email with your smart card credentials. The Amaroo team will also be notified and will update your booking. If you haven't received your credentials email after three weeks, use the Contact Us link at the bottom of the Smart Card site page to contact the Smart Card help desk.

How to Apply for Indian Smart Card

Individuals (PWKs) seeking a Smart Card can apply through any of the following methods:

Walk-in to Smart Card Office
- Applicants can directly visit the Smart Card Office.
- They must fill out the Smart Card application form on-site.
- Their photograph will be clicked at the office as part of the application process.
Apply via Email (smartcard@rvk.in)
- PWKs can email their application details to the Smart Card Office.
- The email should include:
  - Duly filled Smart Card application form
  - Passport-size photograph (clear, recent)

- For any queries or assistance, applicants may call the Smart Card Office landline: 011-35009214
Bulk Submissions (More than 2 PWKs)
- If submitting applications for more than two individuals, details can be sent in an Excel sheet format.
- The Excel must be accompanied by individual passport-size photographs for each applicant.
- This method is ideal for center representatives or district coordinators submitting multiple entries at once.
Important Notes for First-Time Applicants:
- The form must be signed and stamped by a Center Representative affiliated with Raj Vidya Kender (RVK)
- If the applicant is not in contact with any representative, they may still send the form.
- The Smart Card Office will coordinate with the Propagation Support Office (PSO) to verify and validate the details.
Form Submission Requirements:
- Forms must be complete and accurate.
- Ensure all required fields are filled, and photographs are recent and clear.
